Elizabeth Singer began her writing career as a journalist: for twenty years she served as a magazine editor, freelance writer, and administrator in academia. Now, she crafts corporate editorial by day and love stories by night.
In fiction, Singer has various short stories published under pen names. Her first novel, WHISKEY SHORES, a Prohibition historical romance set in rural Minnesota, is in query. An early version of WHISKEY SHORES won in the Romance Through the Ages contest in late 2021.
Singer is former writing fellow with The Poynter Institute in St. Petersburg, Florida, studied politics and international relations at the University of Nottingham in Nottingham, England, and holds a degree in political science and identity studies (then called women’s studies) from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. She sits on the Board of Directors for the Stearns History Museum and is a member of the Minnesota Historical Society, the Women’s Fiction Writers Association (WFWA), and The Author’s Guild.
When not writing or reading, Singer is probably lost in the woods, cheering on a Minnesota hockey team (go Huskies! go Wild!), or making a mess in the kitchen in her home in Minnesota.
